Open GC Handicap Doubles Tournament

Golf Croquet

The Tournament is an open one-day Golf Croquet Handicap Doubles competition staged at Watford and listed in the CqE fixtures calendar. It will be played according to Handicap Advantage rules.

Note: games may be played using 'Target Scores' in order to align with 2026 CqE policy, BUT the scores will then be converted to the equivalent results using Starting Scores instead, and recorded accordingly in tables of results, so that (a) the winner of each game will appear with a score of 7 hoops, and (b) a simple net hoops calculation can also be used where necessary as a practical and reasonably fair tie-breaker in blocks.

Entries:	Allocation: 5 April Closing: 1 June Those who wish to enter and pay online may do so through the CqE website in same way as entering a CqE Tournament. Alternatively, postal entries should be submitted together with entry fee using the standard CqE Tournament entry form.
Entry fee:	£8 per person (all entrants). Pay online (see above) or by cheque to the secretary, payable to "Watford (Cassiobury) Croquet Club".
Format:	AMD, provisionally the standard Series format if full capacity.

Exceptions and additions to the standard CqE tournament regulations:

1. Players must be prepared to play five or more games.
2. Tea, soft drinks and biscuits are provided free of charge, but please bring your own lunch.
3. Details of parking and other arrangements will be sent to participants before the event.
